After 22 long years, the Brendan Martin Cup has finally returned to Galway.
This was more than just a victory on the field. It was the result of years of dedication, player development, sacrifice, resilience and belief. Our players and management gave everything in pursuit of this dream — countless hours of training, missed family time, personal sacrifices and an unwavering commitment to the Galway jersey.
For us, the players, Galway LGFA, and everyone involved with this team, this success means so much. It is a moment that belongs not only to the panel and management, but also to the supporters, families, clubs and communities who stood behind them every step of the way.
As we celebrate this historic achievement, we are seeking your support to help fund a celebration holiday for players and management — a chance to reflect, celebrate, and recognise everything we experienced on this incredible journey.
Unfortunately, with no funding provided by the governing body towards this type of trip, it falls on Galway LGFA and us, the players and management, to raise the necessary monies. We are depending on the generosity of our supporters, our community and the wider public to help make it possible.
