Club Championships Begin This Evening

All-Ireland Senior Club Champions Kilkerrin/Clonberne begin the defence of their Galleon Restaurant County Senior Football title this evening when they take on Salthill/Knocknacarra in Clonberne at 8pm.

This evening’s game is the first of four Senior Championship games with the other three on Sunday. At 11am, Corofin are at home to Claregalway and Dunmore MacHales are away to Maigh Cuilinn, while at 12.15, Annaghdown are at home to Naomh Mhuire.

The County Intermediate Championships will begin on Saturday evening. At 7pm, St Brendans are at home to Tuam/Cortoon and Bearna na Forbacha are away to St Furseys. Meanwhile, at 7.30, Naomh Anna Leitir Mor are at home to St James.

The County Junior A Championship also begins this evening with Glenamaddy/Williamstown at home to An Fhairce at 7.30.

All other Junior A Championship games are on Sunday with Menlough-Skehana at home to Milltown at 11am, Monivea-Abbey at home to Grainne Mhaols at 1pm and at 2.30, Claregalway Juniors host Caherlistrane.
